Journalism
Reported in person, until something moves.
At Hindustan Times, I published more than 400 stories on civic affairs, public health and the urban environment, alongside citizen campaigns for the Mumbai edition. That reporting has moved government to act on issues ranging from local infrastructure to policy. It was recognised with the Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Civic Journalism and Indian Media's 40Under40.
Alongside commissioned work, I run an independent public-interest reporting channel on X, @mashrujeet. It reaches more than 20 million impressions in an average year, an audience built through consistent, verified reporting from the field.
That visibility can turn a local issue into an on-ground response. Posts have led to improvement, enforcement and follow-up by public agencies.
